Anna and John’s wedding will go down as one of my

Anna and John’s wedding will go down as one of my most unforgettable in my 21 years of shooting weddings. I truly have never photographed a wedding that shed light on such a wide gamut of emotions. After experiencing a severe loss within days of the wedding – I watched as Anna and John impressively honored their love with an incredible amount of love and joy while also holding space for grief. And while the emotions were complex, the beauty of the moments that unfolded were exceptional.

Aesthetically, @nelsonatkins framed the most incredible scene designed by none other than @weddingsbyhannah (a planner who basically takes residency among Kansas City’s finest venues).

I was fortunate enough to take a seat at the table, supporting Anna and John every step of the way, and to write an incredible visual narrative –it was such an honor to be a part of.

It’s Friday night and I’m not shooting a rehearsal

It’s Friday night and I’m not shooting a rehearsal dinner for once 🥂

But if I were I’d choose this one- a gathering of lifetime friends celebrating layers in layers of friendship and love at none other than @tassosgreekrestaurant, a Kansas City staple. The energy, the warmth, the laughter…you can feel it all in these images from Courtney and Chandler’s rehearsal dinner. 🇬🇷

From intimate gatherings to lavish and layered soirées, each offering is thoughtfully designed to meet the full spectrum of our clients’ photographic needs.

Our interpretation of luxury is quiet, refined, and deeply intentional—rooted in relational richness and the true narrative of the wedding day.

Inspired by global cultures and traditions, we relish the opportunity of documenting multi-ethnic events—immersing ourselves in the beauty and meaningful heritage each celebration carries.

Though grounded in the Midwest, we travel worldwide with a team representing five countries and speaking four languages.

We’re ready for the next chapter—capturing weddings near and far, across cities, countries, and cultures. The future feels bright, and we can’t wait to meet it alongside you.

My clients are classy… career minded… chic. Sometimes the pace of their life only allows for a 30 minute engagement session to which I say let’s goooooooo.

I heavily suggest an engagement session – even in the quickest form (thirty minutes) – as a great way to practice and strengthen the skill of being photographed. Being photographed is just that… It is a skillset. Some people come to the table with this skill already developed, and others are at the very beginning of their journey and being comfortable while being photographed.

The job of the Photographer is to meet people where they’re at – to gracefully guide them to expand in their comfort and to allow the subjects to see images of themselves that portray a beauty they’ve always wanted to see.

Next, I will meet with the client review the images – listen to their feedback and carry it with me to the wedding day. The best is yet to come. 🥂
